I was flicking through the TV channels one night, and saw a show where they were helping people to “look 10 years younger in 10 days”. Totally mindless viewing of course – but I couldn’t believe what I saw on there!
Along with the botox treatments, dermal fillers, eye-lifts, exercise, hair do’s and tons of make-up – was Colonic Irrigation! Oh my goodness!
They were making a big deal out of it and I’m sure it was mainly screened just for the shock value of having a rough mining bloke have a tube put in his you-know-what to have his colon flushed – but hasn’t alternative medicine come a long way when you see something like this on a pop-culture type show?

I just wanted to say how much it excites me to see colonics become more mainstream.
