Ginger Boost!

by Leisa on May 6, 2009

In other parts of Australia it is starting to get much cooler as we move well into Autumn, and we’ve just started getting some cooler nights here on the Gold Coast.

I have written before about keeping warm in winter with raw food, but I just wanted to remind everyone of a simple tool that keeps you warm all day!

And that is using ginger – a warming and circulatory stimulating herb.  Having 30ml of ginger juice on it’s own of a morning can spread a beautiful warmth through your body and is used by people living in very cold climates as an internal heating system.

Or you could also just add ginger into your normal morning juice, such as a celery, carrot, apple and ginger combination.

Try it on a cold morning and see what you think!
