Random Acts of Kindness 2

by Leisa on July 27, 2009

A couple of times on a Sunday night I have watched a program called “Random Acts of Kindness” and thought it is such a wonderful concept for a television show!

It is SO much better than the negative violence and propaganda that we normally see on television.  It highlights some of the most beautiful, selfless, compassionate people in Australia, and is just a pleasure to see these “unsung heroes” getting the appreciation they so clearly deserve for the acts of kindness they perform on a daily basis.

Does anyone else cry watching this show?

I am such a softie when it comes to watching people who are overwhelmed with positive emotions – I cry when they cry and there is no stopping it!

It gives me a lot of hope to see so many amazing people with such big hearts.  These are the people who should be in politics and business, making decisions that benefit others, rather than opting for the corruption and greed that we seem to have so much of….  The only story I didn’t agree with was the man running around Australia to raise money for cancer research – his heart is in the right place – but Big Pharma have him conned, for sure – see my post Pink Ribbon Propaganda

Well done Channel Nine for bringing us something on television that teaches us to be better people and show kindness to others.
